ANDALUZ PLASTIC ARTS EXHIBITION - Separate



The director of the Instituto Andaluz de la Juventud (IAJ), Raul Perales, has announced the list of works selected for acquisition among finalists Andalusian Arts Competition 2010, convened by the agency in the framework of the sink. The presentation of the jury's decision has taken place in the Rector of the University of Málaga (UMA), where up to January 15 may visit an exhibition which includes the work of 14 young finalists of the contest.

The works chosen as winners by the jury, composed of white Alba artist, the gallery owner Javier Marin, Professor Ivan de la Torre and the critic Sema D'Acosta, have been acquired by the IAJ worth total of 16,200 euros. Specifically, the selected works are as follows: Joy Castillo José Antonio Sánchez (Cadiz); Amada Martinez (Murcia, resides in Grenada); Cristina Lama (Sevilla), Diego Martin (Málaga) ; Eugenio Rivas (Córdoba); Felipe Palma (Sevilla) ; Alhama Luis (Córdoba) ; Captain Pablo (Granada); Paola Villanueva (Sevilla) and Susana Ibáñez ( Sevilla), Daniel Solomons (Madrid, lives in Malaga), Francisca Braithwaite (Santiago de Chile, lives in Malaga), Mariquina Ramos (Almería) , Simon Arrebola (Jaén).

The exhibition of finalists, chosen from among 117 proposals submitted to the contest in this edition, contains a total of 34 paintings, 5 sculptures and 3 facilities.

As added bonus, in addition to the exhibition, all the finalists of the contest will Andalusian Arts covered by a catalog published by the IAJ .

Exhibition December 17, 2010 to January 15 2011 in the exhibition hall of the Rectorate Building welcomes the winning works by Andalusian Arts Competition Unsnap 2010.

From 11:00 to 14:00 and from 18:00 to 21:00 Monday to Saturday excluding holidays.
